TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF BOOKING
We require a deposit of 30 per cent and
advice that bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is received.
In the event that your payment does not reach us in the allotted period, we
will always contact you by both email and phone to ascertain the situation.
Deposits and balance payments are not refundable once paid. Please ensure you
take out cancellation/ travel insurance as soon as you book.
The balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to your departure date. In normal
circumstances deposits and balance payments are not refundable once made or
due. If you cancel between 0 days
and 8 weeks before your departure and you have not paid your balance the balance due will be owing to us. By completing this booking form you are entering into a contract with Sunny Seek Holidays
Lda and your deposit is immediately due . Full balance is due for anyone travelling
within eight weeks of booking.
Payment may be made by cheque which is in Euros and drawn on a Portuguese bank,
banker's draft , credit card ( 4% Charge ) or by direct bank transfer of funds
(please ask for details). Payment
can be made in Euros (by bank draft) or GBP (British Pounds Sterling), by draft or cheque.. Where this is not possible and payment is made in other currencies an additional charge of the equivalent
of 15GBP is payable for each transaction to help cover our conversion charges. Properties are normally available from 14.00hrs on the first day of your booking and should be vacated by 10am on the
day of departure. (Occasionally these times can be changed by arrangement but
rarely in peak weeks.)
Bookings will usually be from Thursday -Thursday or Sat - Sat unless otherwise
agreed and for weekly periods i.e. 7, 14, 21, 28 days etc. Bookings will usually
be accepted for a minimum period of
7/14 days in peak season.
The occupiers must permit the management reasonable access to the property to
carry out urgent maintenance where necessary.
The property must not be sub-let or shared by any persons not nominated on the booking form. Over occupancy or discrepancies in the names of those resident compared with those submitted on
the
booking form can result in all tenants being asked to leave.
It is possible to change the names of those staying but advance notice must
be given.
Please leave the property in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the tenancy.
The price paid for your property is fully inclusive of electricity, gas and
water unless otherwise discussed and arranged. This information does not override
any agreement made previously and stated
on your booking correspondence.
Maid service as advertised (except public holidays and Sundays) and all linen
except beach towels are also included.
A damages deposit may be payable - this depends on the property and sometimes
the age of the occupants! - And will be advised where applicable. Payment of
this is usually made to the agent
handling the property in the resort and can be paid by Euros or cheque. The deposit is returned, subject to satisfactory inspection of the property, on the last day of your stay in quieter times and
within two weeks at peak periods. Deposits range from GBP 150 to 600
depending on the property.
The signatory on the booking form takes full responsibility for all other persons
listed to abide by these booking conditions. Your contract is with the property
owner. In the event of any problem
you must raise this with the agent looking after the property while you are on holiday - do not leave it until you return. In the event that a problem arises which we cannot satisfactorily resolve as an
intermediary you will be put in contact
with the owner/property agent and the responsibility
for resolving such issues will not be held to be the responsibility of Sunny
Seek Holidays Lda
All of the information on the web site, while it is believed to be true, is
supplied by the owner/agent of the property and any dispute will be with them
and not Sunny Seek Holidays Lda
In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your holiday accommodation,
which would mean that it was not habitable, we reserve the right to offer alternative
accommodation of a similar or
higher standard. If this is not available and/or is
not suitable you will be entitled to a full refund.
